IDENT | OIL & GAS SIGNAGE BUILT FOR WESTERN CANADA
Before IDENT was anything else, we were an oilfield sign shop. In 1982, we started building signage for the companies working Western Canada’s pipelines and well sites, and that work is still the foundation of everything we do. Four decades later, oil and gas isn’t just a market we serve — it’s where we learned what “built for real-world conditions” actually means.
Sour gas warnings, emergency shut-in numbers, lease identification, pipeline markers, well site classification — every sign and decal has to hold up to weather, distance, and time between site visits, while staying fully compliant with AER and WHMIS requirements. We build ours to do exactly that.
Whether you’re marking a single well site or managing signage across dozens of locations, we think in systems, not one-off orders. That means consistent formatting, consistent materials, and a team that already knows what your site needs before you finish explaining it.
